Our Story

20+ years. 14 000+ clients.

One of South Africa's premier approved finance brokers — saving South Africans millions since 2006.

Origins

Founded around 2007 by Uncle G, Carfin's services were rooted in empathy. In the pre-2010 world cup era, during economic strain, refinancing options were launched — created so South Africans wouldn't lose their vehicles to debt. A relief product for financially stretched vehicle owners.

With South African customer service dying, failing public transport and an auto industry plagued with dodgy dealers and complicated contracts — Carfin stepped in providing a safe, simple, transparent and fast way to access vehicle financing.

Bastion of industry

Uncle G pioneered the use of technology to simplify application and negotiation. Combined with thoroughly trained experts, this delivered the highest level of service. Today Carfin leads the pack — acting as bastion for its clients. Our systems allow clients to complete applications within seconds while our experts fight the banks against each other for the best offers.

Who we are

Carfin now stands strong as one of SA's premier approved finance brokers. With over 20 years of connecting buyers to multiple lenders, we've rescued and secured more than 14 000 competitive deals — cars, bikes, trailers, caravans — financing, refinancing, balloon adjustments and private purchases.

Education is the first step of prevention. We write the truth about financing in clear, easy-to-understand articles so non-specialists know what they're signing up for.

"Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world."
